Overcoming In A World Of Unlike Minds

In life, we experience trials of all types. But we must always remember that in every situation or circumstance, in all things continue to push through adversity and face the world with courage. Yes, remain unshakable understanding with the confidence mentioned by Paul in a letter to the Romans:

“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28 NIV

Prayer, Mantras, and Attitude are key and imperative when in combat or when you find yourself in distress. This is a reminder to myself and encouragement for others. We are never alone for we know where our hope comes. Don’t be discouraged when engaging in a world of unlike minds.

Prayer

Make prayer a priority. Begin and end your day in prayer. Our Father who is Alpha and Omega dwells in heaven loves to hear from you. Communication with Him is accomplished by praying. Be sure to fill your prayers with adoration, praise and thanksgiving. Always ask for the forgiveness of your sins and others. We must remember to pray for others. Even the ones who persecute us. Jesus provided this example on the cross during his crucifixion. “Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” — Luke 23:34 NIV

If you are in need of an example, the following is most popularly known as “The Lord’s Prayer.” In fact, Jesus taught the disciples how to prayer with this prayer:.

The Lord’s Prayer:

“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” — Matthew 6:9-15 NIV

Also, Jesus prayed for all believers:

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one — I in them and you in me — so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you[e]known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” — John 17:20-26 NIV

He continues to intercede on our behalf.

Mantra

Be kind to yourself. After praying, immediately repeat healthy phrases of encouragement to motivate yourself. These messages should be a combination of scriptures and motivational motto.

"God loves me."

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

Jesus said: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” I deserve an abundant life.

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Attitude

Before you walk out of the door be ready to embrace the new day and adapt a positive attitude. Do what is right and work to the best of your abilities. Be determine to learn something new every day. Improve your craft. Your goal is to make wise decisions and to be successful with integrity. Remember absolutely no one can stop you on your journey. Reflect on the following passages as needed during the day:

Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely[a] defend my ways to his face. Indeed, this will turn out for my deliverance, for no godless person would dare come before him — Job 13:15-16 NIV
“At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.” — Daniel 6:4 NIV
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” — Colossians 3:23-24 NIV

Ultimately, remain focused on being the best you that you can be. Continue to walk in honesty and truth. And remember to never stop praying.

Finally, you must constantly pray.
